You may not be a fan of college football, but the Dawgs Win Again! This is important to Amelia Island, a true destination for folks coming to World’s Largest Cocktail Party. This Georgia/Florida rivalry is played in Jacksonville, Florida, but many, many Bulldog fans stay in the resort rentals all over Fernandina Beach.
When Georgia wins, the fans stick around for an extra day or two and visit our restaurants, shops, adventures and more. But, when they lose, those dogs tuck their tail and cannot get out of Florida fast enough. So, it is great for our local economy to see the Georgia Bulldawgs win again!
